Random Acts of Kind Strangers

A poem I wrote when feeling really sad, and unconsciously said ‘sorry’ to a bus driver getting onto a bus after a request he made. The bus driver simply said ‘No problem’. That made me feel better.

The world passes me by,
Not wanting to be here.

Just living life just to live.
Moving on in the day like a clock ticking, until it runs out of power.

But a kind act, may be nothing,

Someone asking you if you’re okay,
If you know the time, if they could borrow a lighter, or saying “no problem” when you say sorry for something.

It makes nothing better, but it makes the feelings better.

It can make someone’s world brighter.

Go out, everyone has good and bad days. It may be cliché but it’s true, random acts of kindness can save people.
